Privacy Policy

Draft, needs legal review before launch. This is written to be accurate about what the waitlist actually does today, and it is a reasonable starting structure. It is not legal advice. A health-adjacent app handling sensitive information should have counsel review this, and it must be revised again before the app itself ships, because the app will collect far more than this website does.

Held is built for people going through something private. We have tried to collect as little as possible and to say plainly what happens to it.

What this page covers

This policy covers heldcare.com, the website. The Held mobile app is not released yet. When it launches it will have its own policy covering the data it collects, which will be more than this site collects.

What we collect right now

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist. That is the only thing the form asks for.
• Which part of the page you signed up from. So we know which section actually works.
• The date and time you signed up.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your diagnosis, or anything about the person you care for. We do not want that information yet and we have not built anywhere to put it.

What we do with it

• Email you once when Held is ready.
• Confirm your founding-member place if you are in the first 500.
• Ask you, occasionally, what we should build. You can ignore us.

We will not sell your email address. We will not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. There is no version of this where your address ends up on a list you did not choose.

Who else touches it

• GoHighLevel stores the waitlist and sends the email. They process it on our behalf.
• Cloudflare serves this website and handles the form request.

Update before launch: list analytics here if any are added. If a Meta Pixel or GA4 is installed for ad measurement, it must be disclosed in this section, and a cookie notice is likely required. Right now this site runs no analytics and sets no cookies.

Deleting it

Email info@heldcare.com and ask. We will delete your address and confirm when it is done. You do not have to explain why.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Children

Held is for adults. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove it.

Security

The form posts over HTTPS to our own server, which talks to the CRM. Your address never passes through a third-party script in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email people on the waitlist rather than quietly editing the page.
